Departure

Dear students, although we've had a lovely time here in the Netherlands, it is time to go home. Tomorrow, we meet at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam at Port 1 (KLM meeting point) at 18.30. Please don't forget to double check your passports.

Programme: Friday, 19th April

A day in Leiden. We have already got used to being here. Leiden is really a marvellous town. We like it a lot!

TIME	ACTIVITY
09.00	We meet at the school’s main entrance.
09.10	We’ll walk to the starting point of our tour through Leiden: Beestenmarkt (market place in the center)
9.30 – 12.00	Students walk the tour and answer questions
12.00 – 14.00	Lunch and free time
14.15	Students meet at boat rental Galgenwater
14.30 – 16.00	Students row through the canals of Leiden
16.00	Ice-cream at the Beestenmarkt
16.30	Students and guests go home.

08.45	We meet at the school’s main entrance to go to the Museum of Volkenkunde   on foot
09.30 – 10.15	Workshop:  African djembe or Idonesian gambalan Students are divided into two groups.
10.30 – 12.30	Free time and lunch
12.45	Students report at school
12.45 – 14.30 14.30 - 14.45	Students work in groups on translating the walking route from German to English for the tour through Leiden on Friday. Tea/Coffee break with a snack
14.45 – 16.15	Finishing the assignment
16.15	Students and guests go home
